I am a current student at Cornell University, majoring in nutritional sciences and concentrating in molecular nutrition. Aside from my long-term goals as a physician, my passions exist as a complex nexus of public/global health, human rights, and ethics. Though my area of expertise is certainly not in any of these areas, I believe that voice and speech can be a powerful tool utilized to spread awareness on the neglected. Inequality is all too common, but there is a fine line between inequality and the sheer violation of human rights and code of ethics. At the interface between inequality and human rights lies an unexplored dimension that needs attention. With this blog, my hope is that at minimum, I can inspire people to take action.
